Sales Account Manager
Salary:  Opportunities to earn $75,000 in the first year; $125,000 in the second year

The Major Accounts Sales Executive (MASE) represents ComDoc’s line of office equipment and business services, using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence prospective customers. The MASE maintains a high activity level with a mix of face to face prospecting, phone prospecting, and lead generation for both existing clients and prospective clients resulting in a steady, vigorous funnel of qualified prospects, and leading to attainment of assigned quotas and goals.

Responsibilities
 
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Spends 75% of time in a mix of prospecting and appointments
  • Develops and delivers product solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Closes sales in a professional and effective manner.
  • Meets established sales quotas and revenue goals on a consistent and month-to-month basis.
  • Researches and develops lists of potential customers.
  • Determines market strategies & goals for each product and service.
  • Participates in sales forecasting and planning.
  • Evaluates product and service marketability in terms of customers’ technical and manufacturing needs.
  • Establishes and maintains long-term professional relationships.
  • Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
  • Develops an annual Business Plan to be reviewed and updated quarterly.
  • Completes all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Enters customer information into contact management computerized system. Maintains accurate current customer profiles.
  • Participates in sales meetings and branch events.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Working knowledge of email systems, contact management systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software is a plus.
  • Current driver’s license required. Appropriate auto insurance coverage for business use is required.
  • Well-developed presentation and sales skills.
  • Must be able to travel 75% of the time to local customer locations. No overnight travel required.
  • Applicants must be available to attend a 2-week training session in Akron or Pittsburgh.
