Job Description:

To help us provide a premier banking experience to our customers, we are seeking a Call Center Representative to join our Customer Contact Center at our Main Office in Cross Plains. Our Customer Contact Center receives inbound calls, emails, and online chats from our customers and sees each interaction through until a resolution is reached.  Additionally, this position will verify new account data on the mainframe for deposit accounts, as well as perform account maintenance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Promote and maintain positive relations with all internal and external contacts, customers and potential customers
• Respond to customer inquiries (by phone, email, or online chat) relating to deposit, loan, debit and credit card accounts
• Take ownership of every call whether it requires a call back, extended research or assistance from other departments
• Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity
• Review customer relationship and recommend additional products and services to customers
• Refer customers to other departments in the bank including but not limited to Wealth Management, Mortgage Lending, or Commercial Lending
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested
 

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and one to two years previous customer service experience
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of customers and associates
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, good typing skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to make good decisions and exercise independent judgment
• Solid organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and demands in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
• Flexibility with hours in order to meet the demands of the department

Hours for this position will be Monday – Friday starting at 9:30 am and ending at 6:00 pm. This position will be required to work a Saturday rotation from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
