Job Description:

This is an entry level position with a career path to an Account Executive for an industry leading provider of local government financial & administrative ERP software solutions. Solutions are available in both self-hosted and hosted/cloud computing environments.
This position will be based either from our corporate office in Northfield, NJ or from a home-based office. Regional travel may be required. Northeast and Southeast territories available.

  • Telemarketing
  • Direct sales and business development
  • Attending prospect visits and industry trade shows
  • Scheduling and attending product demonstrations and meetings, both on-site and web based
  • Prospect/CRM database monitoring and updating
  • Activity planning and tracking via Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Completing and submitting weekly activity reports outlining sales development directly to regional sales director
  • Assisting with tasks assigned by regional sales director

Job Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Direct sales experience a plus
  • Government or other technical/software marketing, sales, support, implementation experience preferred
  • Must have strong motivation and be a self-starter with an outgoing and pleasant personality
  • Microsoft Office & Dynamics CRM experience preferred
  • Requires desire to learn in fast-paced industry
  • Willingness to travel is a must, as it will be required and may exceed 50%
