Job Description:


Our client, a leader in providing communication devices, is growing their team and in need of a Billing Specialist to assist with their customer service department on a contract to hire basis. This opportunity requires candidates to be detail oriented, able to patiently assist clients who may be deaf or hard-of-hearing, and operational knowledge of all standard office equipment. Candidates with prior customer service experience in technology troubleshooting highly encouraged to apply. Operating on a full time contract to hire basis, this opportunity is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, pays $16.00 per hour, and operates in a business casual environment.

  • Provide support to customers verbally and in writing ensuring that all questions are answered in a timely manner
  • Facilitate troubleshooting and any necessary follow-up to customers regarding questions about our products or services.
  • Develop and update documents for the CRM database
  • Review orders to ensure accuracy, while making corrections as needed prior to invoicing clients
  • Serve as point of contact for assigned sales agents
  • Input orders and invoices into ERP system
  • Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated customer service experience, preferable in a call center environment
  • Ability to demonstrate patience while working with customers who require additional assistance
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with focus on grammar
  • Ability to stay organized and process larger quantities of incoming orders
  • Ability to operate in a patient, relaxed demeanor
  • Must feel comfortable working independently as well in a small team
  • Must feel comfortable multi-tasking while operating within a deadline driven environment
  • Able to maintain a positive attendance record
