Job Description:

Fostering future professionals with the opportunity to learn more about the information technology industry. Provide practical, hands on experience in programming and business analysis. Personal assessment for the interest and skillsets for future success in the field. Participation and responsibility for at least one long range project including managing deadlines, understanding and managing stakeholder expectations, identifying variances in the project and determining how to approach and resolve.
 
 POSITION FUNCTIONS*
 50% Programming
•Plan and write appropriate coding for project needs.
•Adhere to best practices.
•Identify and troubleshoot bugs and fix within existing code.
 
50% Business Analysis
•Manage project deadlines.
•Solicit, understand and manage stakeholder expectations.
•Identify variances and determine how to approach and resolve.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Pursuing an associate or bachelor degree in programming, application development, information technology, or other related field.
• Hands on related experience with current programming languages, building a plan and evaluating user features and turning them into functional requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Exercises judgement within broadly defined practices and policies.
• Makes sound decisions based on analysis, discussion, experience and judgement.
• Develops and maintains interpersonal relationships.
• Equally skilled in working independently as working collaboratively.
• Balancing multiple priorities, meets deadlines, follows project plans, identifies variances, and determines appropriate corrective actions.
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook and Excel, and related industry applications. Experienced based programming knowledge.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including the board.
