We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our corporate office in Cross Plains as a Commercial Portfolio Manager with the flexibility to work in Madison! A Commercial Portfolio Manager is responsible for underwriting credits, monitoring and co-managing loan portfolios in concert with the Commercial Bankers, assisting the Commercial Bankers in the retention and expansion of existing client relationships, being knowledgeable of the business strategy and providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. Ideal candidates will be relationship focused with the drive for success.


• Partner with Commercial Bankers as a point of contact for client.  Act as a liaison between Credit Analyst, Commercial Processing staff, Credit Risk Department and other internal staff members as necessary
• Partner with Commercial Bankers to identify credit risk and quality of the portfolio, discuss client strategy and business opportunities
• Regular and proactive communication with clients, in-person and telephone, to ensure updated financials, covenant compliance, knowledge of clients business and assist in identifying new business cross-sell opportunities
• Prepare loan credit presentations and participate in the loan approval process
• Provide accurate financial analysis, due diligence and risk assessment of new and existing borrowers; recommend loan structure
• Responsible for credit risk and quality of the loan portfolio
• Various other duties and tasks as assigned or requested

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and/or similar field of education and/or 3-5 years previous work experience in a lending environment (e.g. credit analysis, underwriting, financial statement review, loan review, credit risk, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of cash flow, credit and collateral analysis
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Good accounting/math skills
• Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to meet deadlines in a face-paced production environment
• Ability to maintain confidential customer information
• Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner
