Job Description:

Quartz is seeking an intern to join our Information Security team.  This paid internship will offer participants the opportunity to learn important skills based on real-world experience in a fun and dynamic work environment.

Internship Objectives:
  • Develop an awareness of identity and access management
  • Learn day-to-day responsibilities and tasks within corporate information security operations, incident response and information security governance
  • Update and maintain Active Directory
  • Organize Primary and User role assignments across the organization
  • 3rd party applications access management
  • Framework policy mapping
  • Communicate results to leadership through a final presentation

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to company policies, work hours, and rules governing professional staff behavior.

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
  • Demonstrated commitment to Information Security career path
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week between June and August
  • Sophomore or Junior class standing preferred at time of hire
  • Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
  • Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change.
  • Presents a positive and professional image.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
