Position Summary:   
The major functions of this position include:  (1) providing advanced-level paraprofessional support services to the administrative and coordinative team/program support services for the Career and Technical Education Team Director and Assistant Director; as well as for other team activities; (2) managing and maintaining materials and visit information for team coordination of the Civil Rights Compliance program on behalf of the federal Department of Education Office for Civil Rights; (3) serving as a co-content author developing and updating web content for the Career and Technical Education Team web domain; and (4) providing program support for conferences, meetings and workshops.  This position is responsible for coordinating various functions within the Career and Technical Education Team which contribute significantly to full operation of the Team.

A minimally qualified applicant must have experience:  
• Providing advanced-level, paraprofessional support services to staff (e.g., supporting team members and meeting on a regular basis, streamlining work, managing calendars, working with external teams/organizations, supporting recruitment efforts, etc.);
• Assisting with daily operational policies or procedures (e.g., confidential administrative matters, communications, reporting, routing inquiries, etc.);
• Drafting or editing letters, memos, reports, form/merge letters, checklists, or data collection forms.

A well-qualified candidate will also have experience managing or maintaining enterprise applications, such as Microsoft CRM, and/or developing or executing web content.
