Rogers Behavioral Health is a not-for-profit healthcare system accredited by the Joint Commission. Rogers Memorial Hospital originally opened in 1907, is licensed as a psychiatric hospital by the State of Wisconsin. We have 222 licensed beds, making Rogers the largest provider of inpatient behavioral healthcare in Wisconsin. This includes dedicated units for children and teens, and specialized inpatient units for adolescent and adult eating disorder patients. Depending on which campus, patients can access up to four levels of care: inpatient, residential, and two levels of specialized outpatient care—partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, which are day treatment options. Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for all aspects of patient care provided in the clinical program.
  • Facilitate intra-department communication and oversee patient care and safety.
  • Facilitate the clinical program conceptualization and delivery in conjunction with the medical director(s) and managers of other departments.
  • Provide staff development to assure competent care.
  • Manage department staff and function.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Joint Commission and other regulatory agency compliance regulations.
  • Involve self in the education of other disciplines regarding Clinical Services department’s regulations.
  • Plan for department needs effectively through involvement in the Hospital’s budgeting process.
  • Assist the Information Systems professional in the design, research and purchase of hardware and software related to the Clinical Services department.
  • Participate in the Hospital’s marketing plan.
  • Professional Growth and Project Management.
  • Comply with the Hospital’s policies and procedures, Infection Control and Employee Health programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates degree required.
  • Applicable license/certification in area of focus is required; Wisconsin Registered Nurse license, current and in good standing, is required for nurse managers, when applicable.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory/management role is strongly preferred.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire. Annual re-certification is required.
  • Formal training in management of the aggressive patient within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire. Annual re-certification is required.
  • Clinical experience in mental health or chemical dependency services is required.
