Job Description:

Summary:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Madison area, who is looking to hire a full time Bilingual Human Resources Assistant. This direct hire position would operate from 8:30 a.m. until either 4:30 or 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of HR experience and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field are preferred. Pay is competitive and will be based on candidate’s experience. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR department in providing services to both managers and employees
  • Provide support and aid in coordinating the consistent and effective application of department policies, procedures, and practices
  • Work in conjunction with managers and staffing agencies to hire and train new employees
  • Perform data entry for employee information (e.g. applications, hiring paperwork, benefit forms, etc.)
  • Assist with verbal and written translation of presentations and meetings
  • Develop and maintain relationships rooted in trust across the various levels within the organization
  • Coordinate and implement employee events
  • Manage HR related supplies, to include: handbooks, new employee forms, benefit forms, etc.
  • Understand and communicate the company vision to employees so as to provide a clear sense of direction and focus
  • Other related duties as required and assigned

 

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in HR preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Human Resources field or a similar combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to professionally address various issues as needed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
  • Ability to professionally address various issues as needed and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, specifically Word and Outlook
  • Detail oriented, organized and dependable
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and business casual appearance
