College interns are needed for social media marketing and administrative support to assist in The Journey 2020 events and ongoing activity at the Tago special events venue.
Social media marketing may include finding Facebook groups to join, creating flyers (visual images with written content) and posting them to The Journey social media via Facebook and Instagram as well as the Facebook groups on a regular basis. Video editing may be part of the process.
Administrative support may include researching and building lists of potential partners. Partners include hosts, presenters, talent judges, affiliates – like performing arts schools and talent scouts –sponsors like food and beverage providers, jewelry stores, car dealerships, etc., and on-site vendors of books, food, jewelry and the like. The position may also include follow-up phone calls to media who may air or print stories about The Journey.
