Summary:

 

The QTI Group is looking for multiple experienced Account Examination Specialist to join an east Madison office on a contract to hire basis. This full time position will operate Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. This role will pay $14.50 per hour and will start as soon as possible. This individual will be responsible for auditing lenders requests for claim payment, loan forgiveness or loan discharge. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, and will be detail-oriented, analytical, and driven. Responsibilities:

 

  • Audit each request for Claim submitted by lenders or their servicing agents in a timely manner, and verify that all requests are complete and contain the appropriate documentation
  • Keep up-to-date on US Department of Education’s regulations as related to claim review
  • Verify that lenders and/or servicing agents follow federal regulations and company policies regarding proper disbursement, servicing and collection of the borrower's loans
  • Review and appropriately respond to system-generated (ACE and CDV) claim error and warning messages after examining financial and due diligence information for the claim; refer to supervisor as necessary
  • Communicate with lenders and customer via email, phone, fax or CAM messaging regarding claims and requirements
  • Identify accounts with collection due diligence violations or servicing gaps and assign the claim to the claims lead worker or supervisor for further action
  • Perform related duties as assigned and provide back-up for clerical functions
  • Maintain confidentiality of documents and processes
  • Access various databases to verify provided claim information

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education a business-related field preferred
  • Two plus years of experience in a related position
  • Banking or loans experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures and technology
  • Should be self-sufficient and a fast learner
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Should be professional and concise
  • Ability to analyze and interpret
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Should organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be willing to submit to a seven-year background check, saliva drug scree, and e-Quip
  • Must maintain a business casual appearance
