Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Acadia Healthcare Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) division, is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing accounts receivable payments and adjustments, preparing deposit information and cash related reports.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities• Prepares deposit information and documentation.• Reconciles deposits to daily and monthly reports.• Audits, processes and reconciles system adjustments approved by management.• Applies payments to appropriate accounts identified.• Audit Explanation of Payments for minor system adjustments.• File and/or scan as needed.• Notify management of issues identified.• Attend required training sessions and maintain knowledge of role.Additional Duties• Sort daily mail• Load copier, printer, facsimile machine the paper, toner, etc.• Answer incoming calls
Requisites:• High school diploma or equivalent; prefer some college or technical school coursework.• One (1) year Accounts Receivable experience.• Proficient in Microsoft Office.• Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.• Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.• Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
