The DPI is currently seeking applicants for an Academic and Career Planning and Dual Enrollment Education Consultant position for the Career and Technical Education Team with the Division for Academic Excellence. This position is located at 125 South Webster Street in Madison, WI.

This position encompasses career and technical education, evaluation work related to a longitudinal ACP practices study, family and community engagement, social/emotional learning, and equity work. This role provides direct impact on ensuring children in Wisconsin graduate college and career ready.

Position Summary: This position builds and maintains collaborative relationships with PK-12, business, and community leaders to ensure that all PK-12 students have the means, opportunity, and preparation to succeed in post-secondary education ranging from two or four year colleges, apprenticeships, certification programs, military, etc. to be successful in the workplace. This includes providing statewide leadership, coordination, facilitation, and technical assistance for the following program areas within the team: (1) Academic and Career Planning (ACP) coordination for statewide ACP process implementation; (2) Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act, Public Law 109-270 to include state and local planning, evaluation, data analysis, grant application systems and monitoring and reporting; and (3) Dual Enrollment and other programs that expand opportunities. This position will work collaboratively with members of the CTE team, within the department, with local school districts and CESA agencies, and with other critical stakeholders.
